Community drum circles

Drum Circles are the heart and spirit of the community. Creating our own rhythms in celebration is an exhilarating experience for everyone.

Community Drum Circles are family friendly and in a free style format where inexperienced and experienced hand drummers can join together to share rhythms. Community drum circles can be for public events, such as Canada Day, festivals and public events which celebrates their community. They are also used at private events such as weddings, birthdays, block parties or any other private gathering.

Community Drum Circles have become very popular because drums are so accessible and everyone has rhythm. Drum circles create a fun atmosphere where people can relax, connect with each other and become part of the celebration.

I provide the drums, you provide the spirit!

Testimonials

"Jim Copeman’s Feel The Rhythm Drum Circles were a hit with the kids and teachers at the Life & Arts Festival Kids Day workshops. Jim really connected with the kids and was able to work with each class at an age appropriate level and get them to learn about drumming and experience the rhythm of a great circle."

"Jim did an amazing job at our 3rd annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day. He provided a fun environment where kids and their parents were able to work together to create fun music! He drew everyone at the event to the stage! I'd recommend Jim and Drum Circles for any type of team building event. He's amazing to work with!"

"Hi Jim. I was one of the newcomers last drum circle. I was feeling shy & nervous, because I am that way, together with having no experience at all & wondering if I have much rhythm in me - not sure... but you helped me to feel quite comfortable & I really enjoyed it. So, thanks for sharing your musical ability & your kind & giving nature. Cheers :)"
